ALL WOOD WINGS introduced Master Series models to showcase the work of our master artisans.  These artisans were previously only producing our custom models. Other artists produce the standard models.  While all models - standard, custom or Master Series - are very high quality, standard models use a factory process for efficiency which does limit the extent of detailing because the primary objective is high-quality volume output.

Custom models are unique in that they follow the exact specifications of a customer's replication package and so are personalized with exact aircraft numbers, specific weapons load, pilot's names, etc. By nature, that type of individual focus permits greater attention to all aspects of the model which results in a unique and high quality product.

However, Master Series models, while not really unique nor personalized except for permitted changes to registration number, are individually crafted only in a master artisan's workshop once the order for the model - as featured in the website - is  received.  As such, they - like custom models - are built with greater attention to detail.  Master Series models have special features created by the master artisans because they have both the ability and time to focus on a single model. As such, Master Series models are of exceptional quality and often showcase different construction techniques developed by the master artisans for the purpose of replicating exceptional details.

Our Master Series models are built when the order is received, please allow for production time.  You may change the registration number/letters of the aircraft, but any other change normally requires a Custom Model order.

Examples of the exceptional quality built into Master Series models.

Very finely constructed engine inserts
to mimic spinning turbines

 Aero-dynamically correct propellers

 Ultra-fine lettering. The
top line is less than 1/8"
high on the model - which
 makes Minerals Council
 simply incredible!

Semi-hollow carving in some models to give prominence to key internal components.

The replication of extended flaps in some models.

Paint schemes that have been described as
"more subtle" and "more real" like these smoke stains.
