The King Air Model 90 family is the basis for the largest and most successful family of corporate turbo-prop twin aircraft ever built. The King Air was designed to meet a US Army requirement for a staff/utility transport. It is a turbo-prop development of the earlier Queen Air. The civil equivalent is the King Air 90 which introduced pressurization and first flew on January 20th, 1964. Deliveries of civilian aircraft began in late 1964. Further development resulted in several more civilian variants including the A90, B90, C90, E90 (with more powerful engines) and the F-90 (which introduced the T-tail used on the King Air 200). The less expensive 90SE Special Edition was released during 1994 and remains in production as does the C90B. Length: 39 ft 10
